Digital X-ray

You do not need an appointment for X-ray examinations. Please go to one of our locations during office hours.

Digital X-rays are used as a basic examination for all body regions. The method is used to represent:

  • Bones and joints

  • Spine

  • Lungs and heart

  • Abdomen

  • Vessels

With digital X-ray systems, the radiology institute now achieves a very high image quality with a low radiation dose. Instead of classic X-ray films, a filmless detector is exposed and the data is quickly converted into a precise image by computer.

Examination process

The recordings are made by medical technical assistants. The examination only takes a few seconds, after which the images are created digitally with computer support. How much time the doctor needs for the evaluation depends on the findings and the number of images. The radiologist will then discuss the results of the examination with you.

How do I prepare myself as a patient?

A special preparation is not necessary.
An exception are special examinations of the abdomen, often with the use of contrast media. In this case, we will inform you about the preparatory measures before the examination.
If you have any previous findings and photographs, please bring them with you.
